Calling all engineers and manufacturers in the West Michigan area! The very first Advanced Manufacturing Expo in Hudsonville is taking place tomorrow, August 13th from 9 am to 3 pm at the Pinnacle Center–and you definitely won't want to miss it.
Broadview, as a sponsor, will be exhibiting in booth #59 demonstrating our top of the line Rapid Prototyping and 3D printing capabilities. Broadview's president, Rick Arnold, is also a speaker for the event, presenting a "tech talk" on how 3D printing can be applied to improve advanced manufacturing processes.
"We are very excited to have a hub for manufacturers and engineers so close to home," said Arnold. "West Michigan is a major area in the manufacturing industry, so to have an expo right here in Hudsonville will hopefully benefit all the area businesses."
Demonstrating MarkForged Composite 3D Printer
Along with demonstrating some of the most progressive processes in Rapid Prototyping, Broadview will also be selling MarkForged 3D printers, which print composite parts which layer a nylon plastic with either Kevlar, fiberglass or carbon fiber. MarkForged uses the tagline "tools not toys" because the parts are strong enough for mechanical applications. For example, the printer can quickly build a custom tool or fixture to improve efficiency in your manufacturing process.
If you have any questions about Broadview's services, or how you can get a MarkForged printer, be sure to stop by booth #59 at the Advanced Manufacturing Expo at the Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville Thursday, August 13th from 9 am to 3 pm. We will have advanced manufacturing engineers on staff to help you. You can also head to our contact page for more information.
Come show your support for West Michigan manufacturing! We hope to see you there!
