Reaction Chair

Broadview Product Development designed and developed the Reaction chair from preliminary models created by the designer along with an array of 2D sketches.

We provided all engineering, development, Pro Engineer CAD modeling, coordination of manufacturing, testing and PPAP as part of our services to the engineering team.

• Complex injection molded back frame is the visual focal point of the chair while being the main structural element.
• Complex injection molded arm. This part of the chair was dimensionally critical, structurally demanding as well as a main visual statement.
• Unique tilt mechanism was designed from scratch. This initial concept was presented by the designer and refined into a cost effective, functional element of the chair.

Aside Chair

We provided 100% of the CAD support used in the development of the Aside chair. We worked closely with program managers to design and develop a cost effective, visually appealing side chair.

• Elliptical tube weldment.
• Connection casting is a very complex aluminum die cast component. This 3D Pro Engineer data was created from a laser scan of the original wood model.
• Injection molded seat and back inners are structural elements of this chair as well as providing the contoured shape for comfort.
